    The exchange can be made at commercial banks where you have an account, up to 12 months after the introduction of the Caribbean florin. However, once those 12 months have passed, you will still be able to exchange Antillean florins at the CBCS for 29 years, until March 31, 2055.

    What will the denominations of the Caribbean florin be?
    Caribbean florin coins will be issued in the following denominations: 5 florins, 1 florin, 50 cents, 25 cents, 10 cents, 5 cents, and 1 cent. As for banknotes, the denominations will be 200 florins, 100 florins, 50 florins, 20 florins, and 10 florins.

    The 250 Caribbean florin bill will be replaced by the 200 Caribbean florin bill, and the 25 Caribbean florin bill by the 20 Caribbean florin bill. The new banknote denominations are more in line with general practices in international payment systems, such as those for the euro and the U.S. dollar.
