Guide to visit the best beaches of Curaçao

Determining which are the best beaches in Curaçao is not an easy task. Curaçao has more than 35 beaches, all of them with crystal clear blue water and white sand. Many of them are known worldwide, such as Grote Knip Beach that you can see on postcards or typical pictures of Curaçao, to the most hidden ones that are still very beautiful. Here is a list of what are considered by locals and tourists as the best beaches in Curaçao, either for the beauty of the sea, for the amenities and infrastructure they offer, or simply for the unspoiled nature that surrounds them.

I have also added the location of each beach on the map, so you have an idea of where it is and how to get there.

Next to each description, you will also find a link to the tours that can take you to each beach. I hope all the information is useful.

Playa grote knip (kenepa)

Kenepa beach is a favorite for both locals and tourists. Because it is a large beach, you rarely have the feeling of being on a crowded beach.

This is a favorite beach for families, as it has fine sand and is safe for children, who can run from place to place without tripping over rocks and can swim without the risk of getting into deep areas.

Kenepa Beach is also a favorite for snorkelers.

Playa Piskado
(Playa grandi)

This beach has soft white sand, crystal clear waters and all the necessary facilities for a quiet day in comfort.

There are many who have complained that the prices of the food sold at the bar are expensive, but at the same time it is one of the few beaches where bringing food and drinks is allowed.

The cost is 10 guilders per car (up to 4 people).
You can stay all day if you want and on average you can go from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
