The beach house and its amenities

Mermaid is the only operator in Klein Curacao with its own beach house facing the crystal clear sea of Klein Curacao. The house offers its visitors enough palapas to provide shade and comfort. There are also enough beach chairs for everyone. In addition to this, some other advantages:

Duration and schedules

– The trip to Klein Curaçao with Mermaid Boat Trips lasts a full day. Boarding is always at 6:45 a.m. at the Fishermen’s Harbor every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
– The boat trip from Spanish Water to Klein Curaçao takes approximately 1.5 hours.
– The boat will be back at approximately 5:00 p.m. The return trip takes a little less time, as the boat is pushed by the waves.

How to get there?

Option 1: Taxi service organized by Mermaid Boat Trips

For guests at Jan Thiel: Limousine transportation at $5 USD per person (includes round trip).

For guests at other hotels: Taxi service at a cost of $14 per person (includes round trip).

Option 2: If you have your own transportation or rented car:

All you have to do is drive down the road to Caracasbaai and reach the end. When you reach the traffic circle, take the second exit on your left hand side and continue until you see the sign with the name “Mermaid Boat trips”. See the photos below:

Is there Wifi in Klein Curacao?

Because Klein Curacao is an uninhabited and remote island, there is no guarantee that wifi or data coverage will reach there. Occasionally, you may receive a weak signal but realistically, the coverage is close to zero.

What to bring to Klein Curacao?
